"The site downloads in lightening speed."

"The presentation and design of the site is as beautiful as the artwork showcased. I especially liked the graphics and illustrations that accompanied the poetry."

"I read in the concept section that you will be displaying some animation work as well. I have some questions related to this such as: are we talking about ani-gifs, avi files,and/or would Dhtml (timeline animation) and FLASH3 stuff count as well?"
astrix@gatewest.net

Sure! . . . We'd love to display some animation, and plan to create some ourselves. We do have some restrictions to follow for size (50k max) and, of course, browser compatability (Netscape 2.0). Humorous (or simply clever) GIF animations would be preferred.

"I found the yellow background on the Canadian ID page non-congruent with the other sections, and disturbing. The other sections all have the rich deep dark-med background and then ...hey what happened ...a light lemon yellow? I felt like I had left the noframes website, which was disappointing."
ajvan@buz.net

Good point . . . This page was developed early on in the experimental process, when we toyed with the non-dithering 216 colour palette. We've kept that page for sentimental reasons, and to remind us just how ugly those colours really are. This background has also been used to highlight the graphic download pages.
